Advertising could not be easier!

No matter what your budget, you can display your ads on Google and their advertising network. Pay only if people click your ads.  You set the budget — and you pick your own advertising keywords!

You create your ads
You create ads and choose keywords, which are words or phrases related to your business.

Your ads appear on Google
When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results. Now you’re advertising to an audience that’s already interested in you.

You attract customers
People can simply click your ad to learn more about you.

It’s simple to set up.  You can vary your ad budget from month to month.  During the winter months, you may want to drop your monthly budget down to the minimum — and crank it up again several months before your venue opens again.

You can logon to your web AdWords interface and check to see how your keywords are doing.  If you want to add or delete search words, you can do that in several clicks.

If you are hosted on our own servers, you have the capability to view a fairly detailed database of viewer statistics for your website.

For even more in-depth analysis tools, we encourage our clients to sign up for a free Google Analytics account — or to allow us to sign them up (even easier).  When you complete their online form, they have a validation process that assures them it IS your site and that you have the ability to make changes to the code.  Once that is accomplished, they publish a snippet of code that is hidden in the pages of your website.

After about 48 hours, their database begins to fill with statistics about visitors to your site.  It’s a valuable tool to help you with knowing which elements of your site are getting used the most (and need the most updating), and which elements can be evaluated for phasing out.

If you are considering sponsors for events on your farm or maze, or you would like to sell advertising on your site, the reports generated by Google Analytics will be able to accurately show the traffic to your site — something that sponsors and advertisers will want to see.

Visit www.ThePioneerWoman.com website — a delightful repast that my colleague found while surfing the net.  It’s a mix of wit and art and epicurean delight, the likes of which cowboys can appreciate.

It’s a little ris-kay, but us grownups can deal with that!  Her recipes are unusually presented and mouth-watering to read.  Click on the "My Camera" link for a real photo feast, as well.
